Method, Delhi

A ritual exploration of rupture and repair, this performance creates a charged landscape using 121 balloons—99 suspended in space and 22 carried on the performer's shoulders. Drawing from Jungian numerology, where numbers serve as archetypal bridges between psyche and matter, the work transforms the gallery into a living metaphor for collective trauma and healing. Wearing a mask adorned with rose thorns, the performer navigates this volatile terrain where balloons burst to release their invisible contents. The gradual release of helium balloons marks time while suggesting the delicate balance between holding on and letting go. Through this choreography of containment and release, the work manifests the perpetual dialogue between wounding and mending.
